What You’ll Learn

Our CNA/CHHA Bridge Program combines online learning with a mandatory in-person RN proctored exam, providing you with the flexibility and convenience you need to succeed. During the program, you’ll cover essential topics to enhance your skills and knowledge as a CHHA, including:

  • Home Healthcare Practices: Gain insights into the unique responsibilities and practices of home healthcare, focusing on personalized care and support for clients in their own homes.
  • Ethical and Legal Considerations: Understand the ethical and legal obligations of a CHHA, including maintaining client confidentiality, respecting boundaries, and adhering to regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Learn effective communication techniques to interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals with empathy and professionalism.

Certification and Licensing Support

Upon successful completion of the Bridge Program and passing the proctored exam, students receive a Certificate of Course Completion. The Care Training Academy provides full assistance to students in completing and submitting their CHHA application to the New Jersey Board of Nursing.

While we offer comprehensive support, it’s important to note that we do not guarantee licensing. Our primary focus is on delivering an accredited curriculum and facilitating the state exam under the supervision of a certified RN.
