ACLS (Advance Cardiovascular Life Support) The goal of this training is to achieve the best possible outcome for individuals who are experiencing a life-threatening event. In taking this program you will be able to practice and train in dynamic role-playing situations that will help you in your role as a healthcare provider.
This course is offered to those who are new to ACLS and don’t use their life-saving skills often. Builds on the skills and knowledge from the Basic Life Support Course

Course Objectives:

1. Recognize and initiate early management of peri-arrest conditions that may result in cardiac arrest or complicate resuscitation outcomes.
2. Demonstrate proficiency in providing Basic Life Support care, including prioritizing chest compressions and integrating AED use.
3. Manage cardiac arrest until return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC), termination of resuscitation, or transfer of care.
4. Identify and treat ischemic chest pain and expedite the care of patients with acute coronary syndromes.
5. Recognize other life-threatening clinical situations, such as stroke, and provide effective initial care and transfer to reduce disability and death.
6. Demonstrate effective communication as a member or leader of a resuscitation team and recognize the impact of team dynamics on overall team performance.

Expected Learning Outcome:

After completing this certification. Students are expected to:

1. Understand and perform the Basic Life Support skills including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and AED
2. Recognize early management of respiratory and Cardiac Arrest
3. Recognize early management of perri-arrest condition such as symptomatic bradycardia
4. Airway management
5. Manage ACS and Stroke
6. Learn to effectively communicate as a leader or member of the resuscitation team

This class can ONLY be taken in person and will take a minimum of 3-4 for initial certifications and 2-3 hours for renewals. We run these classes daily based on demand.
