Getting Started in the Healthcare Industry

Get Certified as Home Health Aide in New Jersey through the Care Training Academy CHHA Hybrid or Bridge program approved by the NJ Board of Nursing. A 76-hour and 10-hour program in both online/in-person classes is required to obtain the CHHA License. The Registered Nurse administers both programs. The Care Training Academy CHHA Program aims to produce globally competitive Home Health Aides that provide quality medical/physical care to patients than their families can provide.

CHHA Program

Classes

This is a 76-hour combination of 60-hour online or in-person classes and 16-hour clinical, divided into two days that include hands-on skills training, review of course material, and a proctored final examination. The students will be given a maximum of 4 weeks to finish the 60-hour class for an online set-up and 6 weeks for in-person before they are scheduled for clinical. 

CNA-CHHA Online Bridge program classes

The Certified Nursing Assistant to Certified Home Health Aide 10-hour Training Program (CNA-CHHA Bridge Program) is for students who have a current CNA license through the NJ Department of Health. A student is given 1-week to finish the 10-hour online portion and will be scheduled for a proctored examination. After passing the exam the school will issue a certificate.

We open doors of opportunities to our students through Internships, Job placement and Career planning. You must need to complete a required training program, pass the state board exam, and do the criminal history background check. The NJ Board of Nursing regulates Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) and assist the students in completing their CHHA Application to the New Jersey Board of Nursing.

We at CTA help our students to secure employment through the school’s Employment Assistant Program. We are also partnered with several trusted Home Care Agencies that provide full sponsorship to their aides to get them Certified. Our trusted sponsors play an integral part in our training system, which helps us improve our course structures per industry requirements. Online Classes

Both the Hybrid and the Conversion programs are available on the Online platform. Each student will be created with login credentials to access the Care Academy Online dashboard. They will also access online learning materials, reminders, and updates. Our user-friendly online program can be accessed on a laptop, desktop, tablet, or even cellphones!

In Person Classes

Both Hybrid and Conversion classes are available in an in-person classroom-based setup. They will be given access to the learning materials and full instructor support. As per our commitment, we are not only ensuring their success in completing the program, but also giving our full assistance in submitting their Applications to the Board of Nursing.

CNA-CHHA Bridge

CNA-CHHA BRIDGE PROGRAM: A 10-hour CONVERSION program is available in an online/ in-person setup. For Online, the student is given one week to finish the 10-hour online class plus exams. And two- days for in-person courses, including the proctored exam. To qualify for the Bridge course, a student must obtain a valid CNA license eligible to work in New Jersey.
